Enable is committed to fighting for the rights of all social care staff – not just our own teams – to be paid well and be valued as skilled employees.
We led a successful campaign for equal pay for overnight support work in Scotland. We piloted innovative projects to look at the impact of enhanced salary on recruitment and retention in social care.
As a values-driven, not for profit organisation, we’ve invested £2.5m in our frontline workforce. In 2022 we launched our own Committed to Care package, and, along with our recognised trade union, we use our voice to campaign for better terms and conditions for all.
We invest in our teams so everyone feels included, trusted and empowered to serve the people we support.
We campaigned to secure the human rights of every person inappropriately detained in hospital or living out of area.
