Enable has been at the forefront of campaigning for a national care service that delivers human rights driven, self-directed social care for all.

We promote our PA Model as a scalable, transferable model to achieving this.

We believe in a national care service that:

• is built on the foundations of human rights and self-directedness

• adopts a zero-tolerance approach to poor quality care and support

• intervenes in poor quality service before citizens are let down

• is delivered by a well-rewarded, highly skilled social care workforce, who are offered structured career progression and professional development opportunities

• delivers a national approach to commissioning of social care for individuals who have complex care and support requirements
