Lianne Williams

Lianne is the Director of Enable Communities, leading innovative and impactful services for children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities across Scotland. Her role encompasses oversight of community-based services, member-led campaigns, activism, and fundraising initiatives, all aimed at empowering individuals and fostering inclusive communities.

With over 16 years of experience in the sector, including more than 13 years with Enable, Lianne is recognised for her strategic and solutions-focused approach. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding the reach of Enable Communities’ projects, enhancing, and driving meaningful outcomes for individuals and their families.

Lianne's academic achievements further underscore her commitment to excellence. She earned her MBA from Strathclyde Business School in 2022 and plans to pursue a PhD, reflecting her dedication to continuous learning and sector innovation.
