Susan Paton

Susan took up her role as People Director in 2019 following a period as the Depute People Director. 

She has considerable experience across both the public and not-for-profit sectors in organisations delivering higher education, accountancy, housing and social services. 

She is committed to engagement, empowerment and personal growth, and strives to empower colleagues to challenge the norm and deliver excellence. Susan is responsible for the strategic development of shared HR services, as well as supporting the complexities of delivering organisational change and integration. 

Susan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, holds an MA from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR from Glasgow Caledonian University.
