ENABLE Group has been listed as a finalist in the very first Herald Digital Transformation Awards in association with Digital World.
More than 120 entries were received with only 52 finalists chosen. ENABLE is shortlisted in the Digitally Transformed Business and Best Use of Technology in Healthcare categories alongside CHAS, Falkirk Council, NHS24 and Glasgow University.
ENABLE invested in digital technology to ensure its frontline staff had the necessary resources to communicate and to support the critical roles they play every day as well as during the pandemic.
Richard Hamer, Head of Data and Innovation at ENABLE Group, said:
By investing in low-cost, rapidly-deployed and mobile-first approach, we have empowered ENABLE’s 1800-strong frontline social care workforce to work efficiently and independently: an approach that proved pivotal when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The awards recognise the outstanding steps taken by organisations to use the digital sphere to transform lives and their communities as well as celebrating those who have responded quickly to the events of the last 18 months.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, 4th November.
